Visual Difference in State and County Lines
When mapping a territory by county, its very difficult to differentiate between the state and county lines.
Is there a way to change the look or color of the State Line while mapping counties?
Just something to make clear where the state line lies.
Unless of course I am missing that this is available somehow... Thank you!2 votes -
Allow for realtime updates off URLs to KML feeds.
There is the existing capability to pull in a KML file as well as the ability to put in a URL for a KML feed. This is great except it does not real time update. You have to repaste and save the URL to get most recent update. Example, pulling in KML feed from the National Hurricance Center (a live feed). T

Add Details to a record after clicking the "Map Button"
When clicking on the map button, it will not populate fields in that one record you clicked the map button from.
We would like fields to populate when clicking map button so you can see details about that record without needing to go to the record itself

Continuously show Field names in columns while scrolling down in the Mapped Data list view
Submitted on behalf of Customer via support case
When you search a data set with a large number of fields, it can be hard to keep track of which field's column you are looking at in the Mapped Data list view. Customer suggests possibly keeping the field name above the values dynamically while scrolling down through the results, so that they can more easily keep track of which field column they are currently viewing values for.

check-in related to custom object in an event
I like to have the possibility to do check-in and check-out directly on an event and the check-in should be related not only with standard object(like account) but also to custom object related to an event. So if I do a check in on an event it check-in must be related both to the event and the related object and the distance should be calculated considering the related object position.
This is time saving and great for our information database.3 votes -
Support Account Contact Relationships in Add to Campaign
The Account Contact Relationship functionality added in Summer '16 makes it easy to attach contacts to multiple accounts, without having to create a junction object. It would be great to be able to use this feature with Add to Campaign.

Currently, we can map events if they relate to accounts. It would be great if we could map events that relate to leads too.

Don't Auto zoom out!
When you click "edit" on a shape and are working on a small point it zooms out to the larger shape. If I am working on the zip level of a state wide shape then I have to re-zoom in to find my place. It would be nice if you edit the shape and it stays where you are working.

Move address search box near other search functionality
For some reason the new release separates the address search box from the core search/layering functionality- which makes no sense at all. It's not intuitive or convenient. Please put it back where it belongs at the top of the search/map/layering section!

Delete nodes in polygon
I would love to be able to edit a freehand multi-point polygon by deleting the nodes or points, similar to what you might accomplish with a vector drawing tool. I find myself simplifying shapes sometimes and it requires wrangling together a lot of points that are no longer needed. Would be a lot faster if I could just delete them, then a straight line is drawn between the points in between.

Geo Library Shapes using 3 digit zip/postal code
The Geo Shapes mapping feature is very useful and has a good deal of ways to define the shapes based on State, zip/postal code, etc. A noticeable downside is increased lag as the layers become more granular. This is especially problematic when creating large shapes based on full zip/postal code.
A great addition to the Geo Library Shapes would be the ability to create layers based on 3 digit zip/postal code (e.g. 928**). This provides a good level of granularity and reduces the complexity when creating larger shapes layers (e.g. Sales Territories/Regions).

Summarizing All Opportunities, each with an attached Shape, to count Post/Zip Code
A shape can be associated with an Opportunity. That Shape may cover several post/zip codes. We'd like to be able to report on 100 Opportunities and show how many shapes have the same Postcode in common. Why? We want to show how many Opportunities are interested in buying land in the same Postcode. This request is similar to the Geopoint Idea - "Save a data set or shape "membership" to a Record" whereby a record falling within a shape is being counted.

demographic data on GDP for manufacturing
It would be nice to make some data sets for thermal graphing or mapped 'reporting" with GDP information. Manufacturing, in our case, to be specific.

Provide a "Check-In" option that doesn't write the Comments to the Subject field.
Our sales manager just noticed that his "Activity Reports" are no longer easy to read because of the way Geopointe codes the check-in?
- The "Comments" are added to the end of the "Subject" field
- This skews the Activity reports that are grouped by that "Subject" field because there are now "too many" unique subjects?
What do you recommend as a fix for this?
- Is there a way to not have the comments saved/appended to the Subject field?
- Is there a way to "dynamically bucket" the subject in a report?13 votes -

Interactive KMZ/KML Layer
We would like to add a KMZ/KML layer to the map that is interactive just like the Shape tool. We have a dataset that we would like to filter onto the KMZ/KML layer. I can do this with the Shape tool but it would be useful for KMZ files. We use FEMA datasets that are in KMZ/KML format. Example: https://www.fema.gov/disaster/4278

More "Smart-Mapping" Integration into Salesforce
Stepping back a bit from SF & Maps, it seems like Geopointe is not integrated enough "into" normal SF daily routines? such as:
When working within Salesforce :
- adding a Map to an Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity (how do I/end-user easily/quickly add a map to a layout?)
- adding a Map to a List-view (end-users need to be able to quickly/on-the-fly view all/filtered customers on a map)
- adding Map Export options (management needs to be able to quickly/on-the-fly export all/filtered customers to excel/kml/etc)Having to "stop" and load the Geopointe app, then "think" thru data-sets & "plotting" options…
