Delete nodes in polygon
I would love to be able to edit a freehand multi-point polygon by deleting the nodes or points, similar to what you might accomplish with a vector drawing tool. I find myself simplifying shapes sometimes and it requires wrangling together a lot of points that are no longer needed. Would be a lot faster if I could just delete them, then a straight line is drawn between the points in between.

Visual Difference in State and County Lines
When mapping a territory by county, its very difficult to differentiate between the state and county lines.
Is there a way to change the look or color of the State Line while mapping counties?
Just something to make clear where the state line lies.
Unless of course I am missing that this is available somehow... Thank you!2 votes -
Add UK Postal Districts to the UK Shape Library
It would be helpful for territory mapping if Geopointe included just the postal districts in their Geopointe shape library as well as postal codes.
For example, a full postal code might look like NN8 6UY. It would be helpful for us to be able to see all of "NN" as 1 shape.

Map by multiple criteria
I often have to pull data that must include both people in a given location and people that have a relation to a given even within that location even if they are outside that location.
An example;
I am holding an event in NYC
I want to send an invitation to people within X miles of the event and I want to send an invitation to anyone that has attended that event in the past, even if they live outside the radius that I set.
Currently,
I need to run the radius report
Then I need to run the event…2 votes -

All Locations
Currently the Map allows the user to show their own Locations called 'My Locations', which is great, but as an organization with many business addresses, to have these setup for all users would be ideal. So my proposition is to allow the custom views of GeoLocations so they can switch from 'My Locations' to 'All Locations' or other saved views.
Basically, carry over the views saved in the GeoLocations tab.Hope that makes sense.

Convert latitude and longitude to Census tract
It would be very helpful if Geopointe would determine the U.S. Census tract from the latitude and longitude produced by Geopointe. That would enable us to figure out how many people we are reaching via Census tract and thus compare it to U.S. Census data.
1 voteWe like the general idea of appending data based upon lat/lon. We are beginning this with the introduction of our Territory Management solution coming out soon and will keep looking into it over time to allow other ways of appending.
Getting to the level of a Census Tract (very granular) is not super likely to be an early candidate. We like the idea, but realistically, appending other data would likely come first.
We’re leaving this open for more feedback. High demand will push this more to the top.

Radial Searches on Multiple Addresses
Currently to do a radial search you need to type in the address for each location. Would it be possible to have a data set with multiple locations and do a radial search from each one of those?
ie. We have multiple branch locations and want to find all accounts that are within XX miles from each location. Currently I am doing this one at a time.
1 voteTo include something like this in the User Interface of the Map page, we need more feedback on this.
However, we do offer 2 ways you could accomplish this today…
1) Write code. Our Apex API class allows you to perform radial searches. If you were to write a batch job to process a list of data, you could get what you want.
2) In Analytics. Our Analytics offering has this exact feature. Might be worth looking into. Contact support@arrowpointe.com if you want to try out Analytics. This is a situation where you’d be copying your data to the SpatialKey platform (our partner) and performing what you need in just a couple clicks.

Color Map Markers by Date Buckets
Be able to color code markers based on a range of dates when using a date field i.e. between 2/1/15 and 2/10/15 = Blue. Dates after 2/10/15 = Red. Currently, each marker represents a unique date.

Allow a String of Numbers to be Entered in the Filter Criteria.
There are fields within Salesforce that contain a string of numbers yet I am unable to enter a string into the corresponding field in the GeoPointe app. Very frustrating as I have to add a new filter for each number. If anyone has a solution for this I'd love to hear it.

Action to create Task or Event in Modular Window
Action button or link to create a Task or Event in a Modular Window.
When I try to create a Task/Event button or link as a modular window, the window comes up blank. Creating a Task or Event in a modular window would be more efficient and user friendly than opening a new window each time.1 vote -
Second set of pagination controls at bottom of Mapped Data section
Place a second set of pagination controls at the bottom of the "Mapped Data" section of a map page.
The Mapped Data section can have many entries, requiring the user to scroll well away from the existing controls at the top of the section. A second set of controls at the bottom would reduce user effort in such situations.

Cross Object Marker
It would be fantastic if you would be able to use a cross
object "Marker". Now that i've been able to figure out the opportunity
role and how its connected to pull in opportunities associated to a contact visually - I'd love to be able to create markers for
"Closed Won" and other stages that are associated to the opportunity
not the Contact.For example:
If I have a "Contact Role" on an Opportunity and have created a "Contact" Data Set, I would like to visually see different Opportunity stages as markers on the map.1 vote -
Centering of Map and ability of dragging center Map icon around
It would be nice if after doing a radius search around an area using the center of map feature that we had the ability to move the center map icon around the map.
That way we could quickly adjust where we exactly want the center of the map to be.

Save accounts on map as a data set, not a route
From Salesforce we can map a View from the Accounts tab and save it as a route. It would be very helpful to have the option to save that collection of accounts as a data set as well.

Enable HTML Code for Website Mapping
I use Geopointe for my pre-foreclosure data, and I like to share the maps with the world. I think it would be a great idea if you created code for users to add HMTL to their websites. If there is a way to export the data from Salesforce to a website, I think Geopointe could start bet other companies selling mapping software for website use.
Thanks for all you do.

Accounts imported into Geopointe from the Account View / Map Records feauture, does not allow filtering capabilities to those records
We have many users that have created 20+ Account screen Views specific to their territory. When the account view is selected and "Map Records" is clicked all of the accounts do show up in Geopointe. However, from here we are unable to apply the Geopointe filter/dataset logic since the records were not created by a Geopointe native Dataset. I would like the ability to apply the dataset logic to records brought into Geopointe from a Account view list. Instead. This would save a lot of time, this morning i had to add 30+ dataset views for one user and these…

Allow Multiple Fields to have Custom Marker Color within Data Set
Instead of having to view separate layers of data sets, it would be nice to have multiple fields with their own color codes within a data set.
