How can we improve Geopointe?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. 'd be great having spatial analysis capabilities. Ex: which locations are separated by more than 50 kilometers.

  2. Include an option for map projections

    Currently all data is displayed in an unprojected (lat/lon) format. This unprojected format works in small areas, but distorts over larger regions making the world look flat. As an ArcGIS user, It would be a great addition to see some of the more common map projections in Spatial Key. Just pick a few of the more common ones from a list like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_map_projections

  3. HBS data for Performance and Business Environment

    It would be helpful to include some of the aggregated HBS data for Performance and Business Environment in Geopointe Layers, if this has not already been done.

    Very cool! We’ll investigate. We are moving into bringing more geo-data into the map. Next release is boundary data and will be looking into data feeds and sources like you mention after that. This is a great source. Thanks for posting.

    Add Demographics (e.g. US census data) to Spacial key.

  5. Sorting chart results by record count

    It would be nice to be able to sort the charted results by record count; current default is alphabetical I believe. Sorting records high to low and low to high would be useful.

  6. Allow Spatialkey Join to go back into Salesforce Records

    We use Spatialkey to match records to boundaries they're physically located in. We then use that information back in Salesforce for reporting. Right now, we have to export the data from SpatialKey and import it into Salesforce using the Data Loader. It would be great to have this happen automatically.

  7. Expand filter criteria on SpatialKey Visualization

    Currently for SpatialKey filter-only pod only "equals", "contains" and "begins with" are available for criteria. Would like to see not equal to and does not contain for additional criteria

  8. Grouping 2 sets of data together by location.

    It would be great if you could report out each location from one data set and then group a second data set to the point in set one that it is closest to. So each entry from data set 1 could have mulitple entrys from data set 2 listed with it and give the distance from.

  9. Make some default shape files available

    There are lots of shape files on the web, some better than others. It would be great if Geopointe had a curated list of shape files that we could just pick from and have them added to Analytics. For example, Timezones, US Congressional Districts, Countries, etc. Shapes that would be used by a wide variety of customers.
