Add custom fields to checkin record
On this moment when somebody checks in they only fill in where they check in and a little comment on the check in. It would be really helpful if we could add custom fields to the check in.

Reporting Tool to Track User Login/Usage/Adoption Rates
We need to be able to track who is using this tool and how often they are using it. We don't use check ins at our company. Just reaching out to our users and asking them to be honest about how much/what aspects they're using is difficult as I am dealing with Sales Reps and not everyone is honest.
Wedo have some back-end data that's more from the developer's point of view, looking at what features are being tapped into, but it's not really user by user kind of data like you'd be looking for. The numbers show approximately sixty…
12 votesWe now have an object in every Geopointe app called Geopointe User Usage. This holds a record for each user and when they last accessed the app and how. See http://help.arrowpointe.com/customer/portal/articles/1853588 for more information.

Add Distance Measurement Tool
Check out this https://maps.google.com/maps?showlabs=1 (w/Distance Measurement Tool added)
What we currently do/need to do in Salesforce/Geopointe is:
Click the Map button on the Opportunity (currently does)
Geopointe opens and plots the Opportunity (currently does)
Need to be able to click multiple point(s) on the map & a pointer gets added
Need to be able to drag the pointer(s) or re-position if needed
Need to be able to “measure the distance” between those points or multiple points
The sample map link above uses the Distance Measurement Tool allowing you to drag the marker(s) & it…5 votes -
Enable Add to Campaign though Standard Junction Objects
When adding a Custom object that will have a many to many relationship with Contacts, Geopointe should be able to detect a relationship though the Standard Junction objects when adding related contacts to a campaign.

Add pinpoint marker to Map when My Location is not defined and Center of Maps is used
This means that the user will always have a visual reference point of where the center of the circle is for his/her search. Currently if My Location is defined you have the marker, if not you have an explanatory text next to the title "Search Center". Two approaches to the same goal. Not user friendly. If you could make the location marker draggable that would also be great.

Search around a city rather than around My Location/Account/Contact etc
It would be nice to have a text field in the "Search" portion of the "Search Center" where one could have the option to enter a city, country and perform a search around that specified city rather than the My Location pinpoint icon
0 votesMarking as delivered since you can do this now, but just have to go to the Search tab on the Map Control Panel (the 2nd tab)

Creating your own layers in geopointe
It would be really great to be able to create your own layers and not have to upload external KML files. The current shape search is nice, but when trying to upload a lot of different shapes at once it can be tedious to click add shape to map 35 times.
5 votesThis was delivered earlier this year with our Geo Library of Shapes. A single layer can contain many component shapes (e.g. 25 zip codes)

Including Activity object in data set filtering criteria
Activities are not an object that can be filtered on presently, as best I can see. This should be added, as I'm seeking to create a geo-report of clients with whom we've had activity of a certain type.

Data Set Sharing
Ability to share data sets by user, role, or group (like reports).
I have different departments accessing Geopointe and would like to only show them the data sets that relate to their position.
15 votesThis was delivered in our March release through the use of Data Set Folders. See http://help.arrowpointe.com/customer/portal/articles/1891929-geopointe-march-2015-release#datasetFolders for more details

Allow Option in Preferences to set Map Type
Allow a Default Option in Preferences..
- Map Type: Map or Satellite1 voteRather than being a preference, we default the map to the last type used.

Load saved Routes without reloading the page
Don't reload the page when pulling up saved routes. Oftentimes, I have a search on the map and I want to add some records to an existing route. If I load a saved route, I lose my search and need to do it again.
Load saved routes without losing my search.

Allow Reports as Filter sources for a DataSet
Use the resulting records from a tabular report as the source for a dataset. Reports are already created for sales goals, call plans, etc. Using these as a dataset would make it easier to focus on the most important customers as "pre-defined" via reports.

Add Child Filters as ad-hoc filters on the Map page
Currently, only regular Data Set filters can be added ad-hoc on the Map page. Bring the Child (cross object) filters into the page as well.

Don't stack the lists below the map, make them more visible/accessible
When multiple queries are added to the map, the data lists are stacked on top of each other and it takes a lot of scrolling to see them all. Re-organize them in some other way so they are all more easily accessible.
