Import an excel or csv file with addresses to display on map so reps can use it for route planning or adding to route (without having to add to SF).
Our reps have their own competitor lists (that we do not always want to add to SF unless it is a closed sale) but they still want to display it on a map and be able to see how close to our customers they are near.
Currently some of our reps use BatchGeo for this function.

I agree with Kelly, but we currently use Salesforce. We would like to do the same thing, plus select (earmark) specific locations (data) and be able to export ONLY the selected data.
For example, if we upload specific business addresses, we would like to use the demographics overlay to determine a fit for our client, view the location by street view to further select or eliminate options, select Favorite Targets and download only those "Favorited" target businesses for sales and marketing purposes. Please Help!

Hi Kelly, while we do love the idea, we are pretty set on having Salesforce be the database rather than holding onto customer data elsewhere.
It's understood how this can be cumbersome as an admin because it requires you to create a custom object, manage importing and dealing with questions from users. But as a general rule, we want to keep customer data in the hands/ownership of our customers so we are pretty set on needing the data to be in Salesforce. At least with Geopointe. It is possible a net-new product offering develops that accommodates this more ad-hoc need.
I left it open to solicit more feedback from people and see what the community thinks.
